Let's see who am I? This is a hard thing to define. According to the online Jung - Myers-Briggs personality test I am an INTP. :) I'm a creative person although I'm often frustrated by lack of skill in most art related disciplines. As a general rule I dislike convention and love most things that are unique and creative. I always root for the underdog. I'm a bit of a political junkie although I try very hard to keep a balanced perspective. As a general rule I think if there are two extreme views on something, the correct answer is usually right smack in the middle - although by no means is this always true - there are definite black and white areas!

I have many, many interests - probably far too many. I love video games of most types although with my time becoming more valuable I have become extremely picky about what I choose to play. I love natural environments of all kinds and being out in them. Along the same lines I love gardening and various plant groups - especially roses and native plants.
My most consistent interest is my pharlan race and their universe, they've been my 'babies' since the early 90s. They've appeared in addons for a 3-D computer RPG called Morrowind. Making the game mods helped push me back into writing about them and expanding their universe. Elfwood has been a great place for me to *finally* allow others to read about my pharlan race.

As my actual profession I'm a scientist in training working towards my Ph.D. Which hopefully will actually be completed in a year or so. My work involves making and using genetically plants to clean up soil contamination. Mostly very nasty things like PCBs and PAHs.
